On moving to Saskatoon to attend University, I lived in an apartment behind the building that housed this city's daily newspaper, the Star Phoenix. My window looked across the parking lot to their classic clock tower. It was a helpful reference point that let me know whether I was likely to be on time or late for class. This timepiece has been guiding people through their days since it was erected in 1920.
