This image was inspired by a terra cotta put and urn in the gardens of Casa do Visconde de Chanceleiros, a beautiful 18th century manor house up the Douro Valley near Pinhoa, Portugal. It was a fabulous location to spend a few days, and the grace of our hostess and the beauty of the place linger in my mind and heart.
