This image was sketched from Kapasiwin beach on Waskesiu Lake. Love the moon on the water. So does the spruce on the shore.
Waskesiu Lake (in Prince Albert National Park) is one of my favorite spots in northern Saskatchewan. It's been a summer vacation destination for our family for nearly two decades. I'm drawn to the water, the skies, and the call of the loons. I'm always relaxed and refreshed by this easy, slow down time. Since I've started taking my paints and sketchbooks to the lake, I'm enjoying the experience that much more.
