I love the way that birch and poplar trees clump together to keep each other company and hold each other up. As the leaves turn and drop in the fall, you can see more deeply into the woods and the groupings become even more apparent.

The other thing I really enjoy about capturing images like Autumn Woods is the chance to play with color. That said, given how long it's taking for spring to put in an appearance this year, I'd gladly stash the rusts and golds for a chance to dip into the greens of spring once more!
