The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. On Market Day the streets along the Sorgue River in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue are lined with umbrellas and vendors selling everything you might need and more. 'Au Chineur', the name of the shop on this street translates as 'the bargain hunter'. Somehow it seems appropriate to the setting.
By the time two o'clock in the afternoon rolls around, the vendors are gone. Umbrellas packed up. Leftover merchandise trucked away.What remains are the people. Parents and children strolling the streets, stopping along the way for ice cream or lunch. The sun shines down and the afternoon is ripe for enjoyment.
