I've been adventuring with a group of Plein Air painters here in Saskatoon. This image was created on a recent trip to Beaver Creek, just south of the city. I had sketched for a couple of hours and decided to pack up and head for home. As I headed to the parking lot, these coneflowers caught my eye - backed by the long grasses and the big blue sky. I just had to unpack, sit down, and do one more sketch. This is it.
