There is literally strength in numbers � as seen throughout the Boreal Forest. Thick growth cuts the wind and lets the shallow rooted tall timbers stand against the elements.
Waskesiu Lake (in Prince Albert National Park) is one of my favorite spots in northern Saskatchewan. It�s been a summer vacation destination for our family for nearly two decades. I�m drawn to the water, the skies, and the call of the loons. I�m always relaxed and refreshed by this easy, slow down time. Since I�ve started taking my paints and sketchbooks to the lake, I�m enjoying the experience that much more.
