The Saskatoon bandshell, built in 1937, commemorates members of the WWI Canadian forces who took part in the Battle at Vimy Ridge. These days, the only skirmish you'll find on this site is a battle of the bands. You're even more likely to spot photographers shooting photos of wedding parties with the bandshell in the background.
