We spent a relaxing hour at an outdoor café while I sketched this scene along the Via Blanquerna, the main promenade of Valdemossa, Marjorca. People came and went while we enjoyed the ambiance, the coffee, and our ensaimadas (the Mallorcan puff pastry bun sweetened with a powdered sugar topping).

I am an Appreciative Adventurer - finding joy and beauty everywhere I am and everywhere I go. In art, as in life, I am drawn to express the up side, the sunny side, the inspiring message that life is good. I hope others feel encouraged and heartened for having been in my presence and in the company of my work.
