San Francisco Streetcar

Painting - Watercolor & Ink
Description
Yep - it's a streetcar - not a cable car, which means it runs on steel rails with a trolley pole connected to an overhead wire above. If it runs on steel rails with an open slot between them, and no overhead wires, it's a cable car. Details aside, it's a pretty sweet way to move down Market Street in San Francisco. BTW, the bus behind the streetcar is a trolley coach. They look like regular buses, but are completely electric with twin poles on the roof that draw power from overhead wires.
