Artist's Description
I've wanted to visit Portofino for years, so I was thrilled to finally see it in person. Sketched this view of one corner of Portofino Piazetta including the tower of Saint Martin's Church and added color back in the studio. I wanted to make sure while we were there that we had a chance to explore more of the town. Good thing, too, as just around the corner we found a bakery and sampled one of the delicacies originating in this Liguria part of Italy - focaccia fresh from the oven.
