Our first day of this visit to Venice had been a long one, and late in the afternoon we found ourselves nabbing a table in the shade along Fondamenta Del Gaffaro and this pretty bridge, Ponte Marcello. We enjoyed a coffee, and the antics of the tiny daughter of the server. The little one was spending the afternoon with her grandmother and the two of them kept swinging by the café for hugs and chats with Mom.
