Although the Grand Canal of Venice is spectacular, the many bridges over the side canals of the city offer an invitation to visitors to slow down, to stroll and savor. Ponte Del Squero spans the Rio de la Toletta in the Dorsoduro sestiere, and has just that calming effect. We’ve also enjoyed one of our finest Venetian meals canal-side at the neighboring Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti. At 22" x 14" (unframed) this is one of my larger paintings. The matted and framed original is available for purchase and currently on display at Government House in Regina.
