Moorea, one of the Society Islands in French Polynesia, is also known as the 'Pineapple Island' for its abundant pineapple plantations. How cool to see them marching up the hillside from our anchor in Cook's Bay, and to know the sun and island soil will deliver such sweet tasting fruit.
