Cape gooseberries are an unusual little fruit. Bright orange, wrapped in a transparent husk, they are ripe with a pop of flavor and often used as a garnish on desserts. I popped some leftover Cape Gooseberries in this cazuala (terra cotta tapis dish) which we had purchased on a visit to Barcelona. They look like they were made to hang out together.
