I sketched this view one morning in the Caribbean as we made our way from Cozumel, Mexico to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. That�s Cuba in the distance as we cruised through the Yucatan Channel. Though they weren't visible that day, I added the buildings nestled between the mountains later on. It seemed like there should be some kind of a reward for scanning the distance.
I am an Appreciative Adventurer - finding joy and beauty everywhere I am and everywhere I go. In art, as in life, I am drawn to express the up side, the sunny side, the inspiring message that life is good. I hope others feel encouraged and heartened for having been in my presence and in the company of my work.
