Exciting and exuberant may be the buds and leaves of spring and early summer. But I must admit that I love the golds, yellows, oranges, reds and rusts of autumn best. This scene repeats itself annually across the prairies and the parkland. And these beauties thread themselves through the boreal forest, too. If you're lucky, the winds stay away and the leaves linger on for days. If you're not so lucky, blink once and theyre on the ground.
