Exciting and exuberant may be the buds and leaves of spring and early summer. But I must admit that I love the golds, yellows, oranges, reds and rusts of autumn best. This scene repeats itself annually across the prairies and the parkland. And these beauties thread themselves through the boreal forest, too. If you're lucky, the winds stay away and the leaves linger on for days. If you're not so lucky, blink once and they’re on the ground.

I am an Appreciative Adventurer - finding joy and beauty everywhere I am and everywhere I go. In art, as in life, I am drawn to express the up side, the sunny side, the inspiring message that life is good. I hope others feel encouraged and heartened for having been in my presence and in the company of my work. With pen or brush in hand, with paints and paper in front of me, I am easily captivated by the moment - and just plain happy! Splash and squiggle is how I work. Ink and watercolor is where I live.
